Kili for Cancer – Kilimanjaro 2014 benefiting the Children’s Cancer Association
July 14-23, 2014, Mount Kilimanjaro
Benefiting the Children’s Cancer Association and with goal of raising $1 per foot of elevation, Kili’s climb will aim to raise more than $19,341. Presented by world-renowned Ian Taylor Trekking guides and porters will lead climbers on a 7 -day trek on the highest freestanding mountain in the world via the beautiful Machame route. As a much deserved reward from the summit climbers will travel in style on a 3 day safari following the climb. Climbers will ride in an open top safari truck with local guides checking out everything from Giraffes to Lions! Adventuring to Manyara Park, the Serengeti Plain and the spectacular Ngorogoro Crater climbers will get a feel for the true wild of Africa. The complete trip cost is $4,550 and includes nearly everything on land - from transportation and hotel stays to food, tents, guides and more. Portland Fit Body Boot Camp Charity Session
Saturday, July 26, 2014, Col Summers City Park, Portland, OR
Emily Johnson, owner of the Portland Fit Body Boot Camp, has already had a great summer. Her fitness boot camp has held two charity workout events and is about to hold its third and final event on Saturday, July 26, from 7:15 am - 8:30 am at Col Summers City Park. There’s no charge, just a suggested donation of between five and fifty dollars. In addition, everyone who donates $10 or more is entered into a drawing to win a month of boot camp training. Registration is open for the charity fitness boot camp event and more information can be found by calling the Portland Fit Body Boot Camp at (971) 266-3222.
 
Dawn to Dusk
Saturday, August 2, 2014 8 am to 8 pm, Portland Waterfront
Please support Bridge City Paddling Club in our efforts to raise funds for the Children's Cancer Association through our Dawn to Dusk Paddle. On Saturday, August 2, we will paddle a dragon boat around Ross Island in downtown Portland for 12 HOURS! That's right. From 8:00 am to 8:00 pm where each paddler will log anywhere from 30 to 40 miles. We are also offering the opportunity for corporate friends to get involved in our corporate challenge paddle.  For more information, please contact Jeremy Shattuck at dawntodusk@bridgecitypaddling.org. Year Round – Online Fundraising
Are you a runner, cyclist, triathlete or just love a challenge? CCA has a program to help you raise funds while you are training to complete a race or a personal challenge you have set for yourself.  This year-round program is open to anyone who wants to raise funds for CCA at any event.
