Volunteer

At CCA, volunteers are our heart and soul, fueling programs that bring the joy of music, the magic of wishes, the power of information and the comfort of friendship to thousands of seriously ill children and their families every year. As a CCA volunteer, you have the power to change the lives of those in need. In return, you’ll find your own life changed by the extraordinary spirit of these courageous kids.

Get involved.
Be inspired.

JesuitAt CCA, volunteers help to power every aspect of our organization from directly supporting seriously ill children, teens, and families to creating new program innovations as Board and Committee leaders. Your time, skills and expertise could be invaluable to CCA.

We support more than 1,000 volunteers annually and have won countless awards for our standards of excellence, including:

  • Oregon Mentors Exceptional Mentor Program
  • Oregon Mentors Match of the Year Award
  • Heart of the Community Award for Volunteer Innovation
  • National Family Volunteer Award from the National Points of Light Foundation

There are many ways you can volunteer for CCA:

Become a mentor to a child or teen going through treatment in Oregon or SW Washington....Provide your musical talent....Share your favorite song and prescribe joy to kids across the nation....Organize a group to help with landscaping or maintenance at the Caring Cabin....Gather your officemates, family, and/or friends and deliver hope to a family during the holidays....Lend a hand to support one of our many events....Share your administrative skills to support projects or events....

The Children's Cancer Association is an equal opportunity employer. We use a similar approach for volunteers, therefore, people of every race, religion, sex or national origin are encouraged to apply to volunteer.
