Our friends at Bridge City Paddling Club will once again paddle a dragon boat from downtown Portland around Ross Island for an incredible 12 hours, all to benefit CCA. Mingle, nibble, imbibe, dance, and bid on exclusive packages – all to raise critical funds for CCA’s Association’s programs of JoyRx that create transformative moments of joy for seriously ill kids and their families.
Portland-area high school students activate for Joy on Sunday, September 29. Teens from Jesuit, Central Catholic, St. Mary’s Academy, Valley Catholic, La Salle, and De La Salle come together as one to support the Children’s Cancer Association’s mission to create transformative moments of Joy for hospitalized kids and their families.
Level Eater Adventures brings an epic, independently produced Dungeons & Dragons play experience to Portland on Saturday, October 5, at Halfling Studios, located at 2360 NW Quimby St. Dozens of players will join together for a night of fun, food and fantastical adventures, besting monsters to raise funds for MyMusicRx and the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA), whose innovative and free-of-charge Joy-based programs provide the healing power of music, friendship, and nature to seriously ill kids, teens, and their families.
