We’re celebrating the 10th anniversary of Golf for Joy social distance-style! On Monday, August 24, through Friday, August 28, golfers across the country will challenge themselves to complete multiple rounds of golf to raise funds and create Joy for the thousands of seriously ill kids, teens, and their families CCA serves each year. The inspiration for this fundraising event dates back 10 years, when dedicated CCA supporter and golf lover, Gay Davis, embarked on a one-man, one-day, 108-hole, walking marathon called “Walking Fore Kids,” which eventually evolved into Golf for Joy, our annual, top-tier golf event.
If you choose to take on the challenge, you can play as an individual or together in a team on the golf course of your choice, and you can complete as many or as few holes as you’d like. It’s a wonderful opportunity to play the game you love on your home turf while supporting sick kids, who are even more vulnerable and isolated due to COVID-19.
There will be another Golf for Joy Marathon in October. More details coming soon!
