Private Event CCA is proud to present our 2019 Heroes, a group of 12 outstanding kids and teens recognized for their exceptional courage, wisdom, and grace in the face of serious medical challenges. Each year heroes are selected from the thousands of children and teens served annually by our free-of-charge programs.
Interested in learning more about board service? Join us for our 4th annual Board 101 event, where local community leaders will share stories from their own experiences serving on boards. Hosted by the emerging leaders boards of Cascade Aids Project, Children's Cancer Association, the Oregon Historical Society, and Portland Opera, this event is open to all emerging leaders and anyone interested in learning about how to get involved with non-profit organizations in our community.
Nine years ago, our friend Gay Davis set out to combine two of his biggest passions: golf and helping kids. What started as a one-man golf marathon has grown to a world-class Pro-Am, dinner, and auction to benefit the Children’s Cancer Association’s award-winning programs of JoyRx. Be a HERO and join us in prescribing joy to seriously ill children and their families! Join us for a 5k run/walk in support of the Children's Cancer Association hosted by Dignity Memorial. Registration beings at 8:00am and the 5k Run/Walk start time is 9:15am. Tickets include a light breakfast for participants before the start time. Lunch will be available for sale after the 5k.
The WinCo Foods Portland Open is the final event of the Web.com Tour regular season. At the conclusion of the tournament, the top 25 players in the season rankings will receive their PGA TOUR cards.
