The holiday season is over, but we aren’t done celebrating quite yet!

The Joy of Giving

Once again our annual Hope for the Holidays event was a huge success. Run by CCA’s Link program, this event provides support and joy to families who need a little help during the holiday season. Each family is matched with one of our incredibly kind and generous sponsors, giving gifts to each member of the household and a grocery store gift card for their holiday celebration.

Let’s Party!

This was the first year that CCA hosted a Gift Drop Off and Sponsor Appreciation Party. Volunteers, staff, and sponsors helped unload gifts, enjoyed refreshments, and celebrated the holiday merriment while presents filled the CCA office.

 Delivering Joy

After all the gifts were wrapped, Direct Transport donated gift delivery to families all over Oregon and SW Washington.  All the gifts brought to the office filled two huge trucks, and that was only a small portion of the gifts delivered by Direct Transport!

Families Say Thank You

This year we were able to brighten the holidays for an incredible 58 families and it wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing sponsors and the almost 1,300 individuals involved! With a very special thank you to Thrivent Mutual Funds for being the presenting sponsor of Hope for the Holidays, as well as the three Thrivent groups that directly sponsored families. We could go on and on about how wonderful this event was but instead we’re sharing some of the kind words we received from family members.
