Thirteen years ago, our friend Gay Davis set out to combine two of his biggest passions: golf and helping kids. What started as a one-man golf marathon has grown to a world-class Pro-Am, dinner, and auction to benefit JoyRx, the mission delivery of Children’s Cancer Association.

Pro-Am Tournament

Tuesday, June 27 – Wednesday, June 28, 2023

The annual Golf for Joy Pro-Am Tournament presented by Northwestern Mutual will take place on Tuesday, June 27 to Wednesday, June 28 at the beautiful Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club outside of Portland, Oregon. The Pro-Am will feature three rounds of golf with an opportunity to play both the acclaimed Witch Hollow and Ghost Creek courses. Practice rounds will be available for all players on Monday, June 26.

Dinner & Auction

Celebrate Golf for Joy with a beautiful dinner, inspiring program, and live and silent auctions at this special evening event.

Joining our dinner program, we’re excited to announce special guest and keynote speaker:  sportswriter, screenwriter, author, and speaker Rick Reilly. A member of the National Sportswriters Hall of Fame, Reilly was voted National Sportswriter of the Year 11 times, with USA Today calling him, “The closest thing sportswriting ever had to a rock star.” He wrote features and the back page column for Sports Illustrated for 22 years, appeared on ESPN for seven, and has written 15 books. He lives in Sedona, AZ and Hermosa Beach, CA.
