Prescribe Joy Today: Individual Volunteer Opportunities

Children’s Cancer Association’s 2,800+ amazing volunteers invest an estimated 14,147 hours of their time in our programs and events each year. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization: they mentor children, share their musical talent, staff community events, host toy drives, and serve on our leadership board.

CCA volunteers make a powerful difference in the lives of children in need. In return, you’ll find your own life changed by the extraordinary spirit of these courageous kids.

Learn about the various ways you can make a difference!

Event Volunteer

Volunteer at street festivals, golf tournaments, and other fun events raising funds for CCA. Help event staff organize, meet new people, and enjoy special event-specific perks (like free food/drink, event entry, and swag).

Office Volunteer

Help CCA with in-office projects throughout the year. Volunteers might be asked to prepare large mailings, complete craft projects, and/or help staff organize materials for a variety of CCA’s annual events.

Chemo Pal Mentor Program

Chemo Pal Mentors are compassionate adults matched one-on-one with a child or teen in treatment. Our mentors play games, listen to music, share hobbies, or simply offer the comfort of companionship.

MyMusicRx Hallway Musician

Help deliver the healing power of music in local hospitals by volunteering as a MyMusicRx Hallway Musician. Volunteer musicians fill the hospital's common areas with music.
