JoyRx Teams up with KATU for Day of Joy

Through many years, our longstanding partnership with KATU in February as part of our campaign for joy remains a powerful avenue for storytelling and bringing awareness to the lives and joys of the children we serve.

As part of our community effort to raise critical funds for our JoyRx Music, Mentorship, and Nature programs, KATU joined us in showcasing these powerful stories from families and community supporters alike.

This year, as part of the celebration for our thirtieth anniversary, we worked with KATU to interview powerful family stories centered around JoyRx Mentorship. And, on our Day of Joy (February 27), we had very important guests visit KATU studios to share their stories and experiences with JoyRx.

Check out their stories below.

Alan Guerrero and his JoyRx Mentor Tom

Lucia Poole and her JoyRx Mentor Chloe

Logan Wells and his JoyRx Mentor Danielle

On our Day of Joy, we were honored to have special guests share their stories during live segments throughout the day. From our CEO to volunteers to children served to beautiful insights from our founding family, it was truly a day of celebration.

Watch some of these segments below.
