JoyRx Welcomes New Hospital Partner

We’re thrilled to announce our newest hospital partner for 2023. Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, joined the JoyRx family in February, bringing our total hospital partners to 33.   

Oklahoma Children’s Hospital is home to the only 24/7 pediatric emergency room in Oklahoma City and is also our first hospital partner from Oklahoma. With a family-centered approach to healing, Oklahoma Children’s Hospital offers resources from pet therapy to Certified Child Life Specialists who help families cope with hospitalization and illness, making them the perfect addition to hospitals served by JoyRx Music.   

Starting in February, JoyRx Music On-Demand will provide curated content for direct to CCTV upload, including festival footage, exclusive artist behind-the-scenes, lullabies, and more.   

Oklahoma Children’s Hospital serves over 100,000 kids and families each year, all of whom will now have access to the healing power of music to more children, teens, and family members.   

Oklahoma Children’s Hospital is one of thirteen hospitals across North America with a Child Life Zone, a therapeutic, state-of-the-art play area inside a hospital where hospitalized children and their families can play, learn, laugh, and relax.   

JoyRx currently partners with two other Child Life Zone hospitals (Children’s Hospital of San Antonio and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital in New York), and it was San Antonio Children’s Hospital that referred Oklahoma Children’s Hospital to us through that connection.
