We are thrilled to team up with Gibson, the world’s most iconic guitar brand, to bring the healing power of music to the seriously ill kids and teens served by MyMusicRx^®. 

During the month of June, six lucky winners of the will receive an Epiphone, Kramer, or Gibson guitar, and southern rocker Marcus King and youth artists from the Gibson Generation Group will create virtual music medicine for in the form of exclusive guitar lessons and musical performances.

From Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 26, donate to enter the MyMusicRx Gibson Guitar Giveaway, and you could win one of six Epiphone, Gibson, and Kramer guitars, PLUS guitar lessons through a year-long subscription to the Amped Guitar learning app and a swag bag full of Gibson merch! All proceeds benefit MyMusicRx’s free music medicine programs, which empowers kids and teens facing cancer and other serious illnesses to improve their emotional well-being through the healing power of music.

In addition to the giveaway, Gibson is also creating exclusive content for MyMusicRx.org with the help of Marcus King and the Gibson Generation Group. In a series of three videos, which will be released during each week of the giveaway, Marcus King will perform songs and answer questions by CCA-served kids and teens, such as “how fast can you play the guitar?”

To round out the partnership, the Gibson Generation Group, consisting of youth artists around the world, are creating virtual music lessons. By recording step-by-step instructions on how to play their favorite songs, these talented guitarists hope to help sick kids and teens have fun and feel better through hands-on experiences with music. All lessons can be accessed for free on MyMusicRx.org and will be posted on the site during the coming weeks.
