Charity Navigator Calls CCA a Superstar Nonprofit

At the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA), we are dedicated to bringing JOY to seriously ill children and teens, but we can’t do it alone. Your donations make all the difference to our mission and over the years we’ve strived to use every dollar wisely.

We are happy to announce that Charity Navigator and Global Giving have acknowledged CCA as one of the top organizations demonstrating a commitment to financial accountability and transparency, as well as learning and effectiveness. Having received both high overall scores on Charity Navigator as well as high Effectiveness Points from GlobalGiving.

Listen, Act, Learn, Repeat

Global Giving rated each nonprofit based on commitment to learning and effectiveness through the following four categories:

  • Listen—How do nonprofits seek feedback from the people they serve, share best practices, and discover new ways to improve performance?

  • Act—How are nonprofits testing out new ideas and acting on the feedback they receive?

  • Learn—What are nonprofits learning from the results of their experiments? How are they adapting their programs and services based on what they learn?
