Join us this February for a month of joy and love! In its 13th year, fueling nearly a third of our annual budget and engaging our most passionate community partners, we’re excited to announce new changes to our live on-air Valentine’s fundraiser.

This exciting event is one of our most important of the year. The community’s generous support allows us to provide free-of-charge program services to seriously ill kids and their families.

So What’s New?

Firstly, Valentine’s Day for CCA has officially been renamed to Hearts of Joy. This was to help encompass all of the many events throughout the month. Our fundraiser is normally held close to Valentine’s Day, but this year, we are kicking off the month by moving our live on-air fundraiser to February 1st!

We’re also excited to announce our new on-air partners, KGW 8 and 101.9 KINK FM. But don’t worry, both partners will still have the powerful interviews of CCA-served kids and families you come back every year to see; showing how your donations directly impact people in your community.

Crowd Favorites

With all those exciting changes, some of your favorite events are coming back just as you’ve always loved them.

Paper Hearts of Joy – Select locations around Oregon and SW Washington will offer $1 and $5 paper hearts for yourself, friends, and loved ones during the month of February! Participation dates vary by location, so make sure to check before you go.

Percentage of Sales – On February 14th, your favorite craft businesses from around Portland including Rudy’s Barbershop, Burn Cycle, and ¿Por Qué No? Taqueria, led by Stumptown Coffee Roasters, will be donating a percentage of their sales to help bring the healing power of music to hospitalized kids across the country. Check out the 15 plus businesses involved, and make sure to stop in for a special Valentine’s Day treat.

Keys to Our Heart – Thanks to our friends at Dick Hannah Dealership, when you purchase a $25 raffle ticket, you’ll get the chance to put yourself in the driver’s seat of a brand new 2018 car! Only 5,000 tickets will be sold so check out your options and get your tickets before they’re gone! The winner will be pulled February 28th Live at 7:00 on KGW 8.

Papa Murphy’s $1 Per Pizza – Show us your love at 425 degrees. Pick up a pizza at any Papa Murphy’s Oregon or SW Washington location on February 7th and Papa Murphy’s will donate $1 per pizza to CCA. Since 2010, this annual take and bake promotion has raised an incredible $291,000 for CCA’s programs of JoyRx.
