At the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA), our community, from the families we serve to the corporate partners that support us, includes dreamers, doers, and achievers. For the last three years, we’ve had the honor of hosting Conversations in Innovation, where some of Oregon’s influential business leaders from a variety of industries come to discuss innovation in Portland.

At the Children’s Cancer Association, we’re breaking up with cancer and delivering transformative moments of joy to kids and families when they need it most.

Smiles, laughter, music, nature, kindness, and helping people, these are the things that bring Suzie Moll joy. A native Oregonian with a passion for giving back, Suzie has been involved with non-profits in her community since her 20s. She is an avid supporter of organizations bettering the lives of children and teens, so it’s no surprise that she took an interest in our JoyRx programs.

This #GivingTuesday MyMusicRx proudly presented Bedstock, an online music festival where artists perform from bed in solidarity with sick kids spending the holidays in hospital beds. In just 7 short days, the festival has raised $45,000 and counting, including an incredibly generous $10,000 match from our brand partners, Converse.

CCA and MyMusicRx are pleased to announce the return of Bedstock, a life-changing, award-winning, music festival where artists perform from bed as a show of support for seriously ill kids spending the holidays in hospital beds. Bedstock takes place on Giving Tuesday (November 29) and it’s going to be “Bigger and Bedder” than ever!

Each September, CCA’s most passionate friends and supporters come together for the Wonderball, our biggest and most magical fundraising night of the year.

At CCA, we know that for seriously ill children and their families, every moment is precious and we’ve made it our mission to transform those moments with joy. That’s why when Blake was diagnosed with clear cell carcinoma at just 2-years-old, CCA was there to deliver the healing power of friendship and music right to his bedside.

May 7 marks a momentous day in JoyRx history. This was the day that, in 1995, Alexandra Ellis, at the age of just five and a half years old, died of cancer.
