At just 19 years old, August CCA Hero David has faced cancer with more composure and positivity than most. It’s the part of his personality which inspires his family and has kept them laughing through the tough times.
This month we celebrate the first of our 2019 CCA Heroes, Shaun. Shaun and his family visited the CCA office to take part in his official CCA Hero photoshoot just weeks before he died. We are deeply saddened by his death, but grateful to have known him and all the joy he brought to the world.
In 2018 you invested more in the community than ever before. With your help, CCA provided world-class programs to children and teens in the hospital and explored the future of joy in healthcare. 2018 was the year we decided transforming a moment isn’t enough – we need to transform the entire experience.
Joy for the Holidays (formerly known as Hope for the Holidays) was another resounding success for 2018’s season of giving. Lead by the Children’s Cancer Association’s (CCA) Link Program, and generously supported by Fortis Construction.
