Living in the Moment with October CCA Hero, Uriah

At just three years old, our October Hero Uriah is wise beyond his years and a joy to everyone who meets him. He loves tractors, listening to animal sounds, and exploring the great outdoors with his family. Uriah’s deep love for nature makes it tough for him to receive treatment for neuroblastoma, which requires long days at the “sick hotel,” aka the hospital.

Level Eater Adventures brings an epic, independently produced Dungeons & Dragons play experience to Portland on Saturday, October 5, at Halfling Studios, located at 2360 NW Quimby St. Dozens of players will join together for a night of fun, food and fantastical adventures, besting monsters to raise funds for MyMusicRx and the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA), whose innovative and free-of-charge Joy-based programs provide the healing power of music, friendship, and nature to seriously ill kids, teens, and their families.

CCA’s 19th Annual Wonderbal brought the delights of Parisian life to the Oregon Convention Center raising $1.26 million which will directly support the healing power of music, friendship, and nature to children and their families facing serious illness.
